I've seen a White spider, and it just looks stunning, but agree with most that if it was 911 money it would make more sense. Nick what makes it so expensive is that you cannot (AFAIK) walk into an Alfa dealer and order a new one whereas the various sooped up Audis, Masers and Hamburg Taxis etc can be still be ordered and they are relatively common, unlike the Alfa. It's supply and demand. At least if you are the owner of an 8C you are virtually guaranteed that you won't see another on the M25 whereas just walking down Park Lane recently I saw 5 SLS's and a couple of Lambos 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I take that on board, but certain brands can't command a premium. If Citroen did a car like that, as gorgeous as it could be....still wouldn't sell.

It's Alfa's link to Ferrari etc, and it's historic background....but their current cars are awful, and thats why they don't sell. It's a romantic fantasy - if you had a Billion in the bank, I am sure to many of us it would not put it on our shopping list - there are better cars for the money, regardless of whether you see 5 of them in Park Lane. Rarity value is one thing, but just because you don't see many Lada's on the road, is not a reason to buy one!
