Along the last few months, i've been reading and reading everything about the RRS, mainly due to the fact that i really want to purchase one. but it has come to my attention that this car is somewhat not the most reliable vehicle in the world, far from it. is it really a heart choice to buy a RRS and not a smart one? keep in mind that this is a £60k CAR... shouldn't it be rock-solid and not the pile of malfunctions that i read everyday?

Remember that 99% of people don't joint forums like this to praise the car, only when they have issues

Unfortunately not really the Marque but motoring in general, my friend in Leeds bought a Aston Martin DB9 and it broke down on his way home the first day he had it, another friend in Knightsbridge the same with a Bentley GT, i THINK JUST THE LUCK OF THE DRAW AND WHAT'S MEANT TO BE IS MEANT TO BE. |

I've swapped to an X5 an it's had in the first year and 13000 miles:- 2 tail gate struts, new gear stick, new parking sensor on the front, 2 new windscreen washer pipes and a broken wire for the self levelling suspension. Oh and a keyless access key. One overbight stay in the garage down to the fact I couldn't get back to pick it up before they closed.

2 years and a TSB for the driver's seat movement is the only issue. Completely reliable so far. Since I am the only one who has really driven it, I think I am going to extend the warranty at 3 years and keep it until 5. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
