Me too....had my ipad from launch, but will get the new one and either sell my current one or leave it in the car......

Although not a fan of iphone, if a smaller nano size one is launched I'd be up for one - but unless it has a text while you drive function....I won't use it.

Since I got my ipad, I have a 17 Mac Book Pro I don;t use, and also now a collectors item - a 12 inch Powerbook.....!

Is Dragon Dictation no use? You can dictate notes, email and text messages - its pretty accurate in my experience and works on the iPad too. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate

Had the iPad since launch and will consider the new version based on specs. Facing pressure from the kids (6&4) who want to have one each for in the car and this would then mean that my and the the wifes iPhones don't take such a hammering.

Also upgraded to MacBook pro last year and still have the original MacBook which continues to work surprisingly well. Even with all this gadgetry in the house I am still bemused by the fact that sometimes I have to use the clients PC to use the internet as the kids are using the laptops

i'm pondering on one, iPad1 was okay but didn't offer me much more than my iphone4

if its good a spec i might get one at somepoint, if its just for surfing the net and forums.

Would also be taken by the kids to watch the pokemon, scooby doo, krypto the super dog, peppa pig You Tube videos they continuously want to watch and on a small iPhone 4 on the end of their nose were it wouldn't be doing their eyesight any good with the small screen

I found the iPad fantastic, until I bought my iPhone4 and then the screen quality looked worse. for reading books etc i prefer the iPhone4 as the text is not pixelated. For everything else (web, movies, games) the iPad is better.
Also find that I can use the numbers app and ibooks to review PDF documents/reports and track comments whilst on flights. Can't do that with the crappy over-sized Dell my client has given me as there isn't enough space to open the screen fully to get a decent viewing angle on short-haul flights.

Possibly will be taking mine to the Motor Salon next week so that I can quickly back up the contents of the memory card in my camera.

Hi Nick

Will be at the Motor Salon on the 4th, me and a friend decided to get a cheap flight from Liverpool so arriving at 09:50 and then returning at 19:10. Saw that some of you guys were going and wanted to ask you how you were getting all these passes??

Will probably be in Palexpo all day but might dash into the city and meet some colleagues for a quick beer if there is time.

Our flight arrives at 9.30ish, and we leave at 3.30pm - LR passes were done thru a couple of guys on here and James at Lookers...

Bentley - used to have one, and the dealer still invites me to launches etc, and Ferr/Maser - similar kind of thing, just on their mailing list - had a spec order, but 2 friends who are Ferr owners are coming along too, just in case they tell me to Censored off!
