Yes I have seen those, i think they look good Thumbs Up

I should think tar remover or similar should remove final residues of glue, good luck Thumbs Up MY10 3.0 HSE Santorini Black, Ivory Premium & extended leather, privacy, paddles, diamond turned alloys, Ipod lead that charges, tasmods, rrsport.co.uk stickers

I used thick waxed dental floss - but wear gloves unless you like the sight of blood!

The glue residue comes off with a polish such as Autoglym SRP and some serious elbow grease. I wouldnt want to put anything too harsh on the paintwork. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
Ex 2006 RRS SC - garbage
Ex 2016 135i M Sport - dream car
Ex 2003 RS6 Avant - piece of cr*p
Ex 2014 320d X Drive, M Sport Touring - ok I guess
Ex 2007 RRS TDV8 - bloody loved it
EX 2007 FL2 XS - not so bad

Heat up the letters with a hair dryer first - makes the job a lot easier. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

I think tar and glue remover does the job too, after all most of LR's stuff is just stuck on with 3M double sided tape

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST Bonatti Grey

Hi
Heat with hair dryer..then pull off letter using dental floss to cut through sticky backing.
You can also buy a rubber eraser wheel that fits in a drill...This will get off 90/95% of backing and glue off.
Then use tardis tar/glue remover... Thumbs Up
Then Polish the bonnet and bobs ya uncle...You should use a wipe to remove excess polish before you stick on new letters and warm all area on bonnet where new letters are to go with hair dryer and letters before sticking on to bonnet...leave for 24hrs before washing car.
Hope this helps
linky to rubber eraser wheel-watch video at bottom of page Wink

Petrol is also good for removing the glue.
