i was just wondering, i have an ajustable airride lowering kit on my RRS wich lowers it something like 4 inches when i lower it down. i drive on 22" 's . Will i damage anything if i drive around with the suspension lowered ? is it best if i just keep it in standard mode or ? i noticed that when i raise it it gives me a warning that i should lower it when i get above 30 km/h and i get no warning when its lowered i just wanna be sure.

it just looks much more cool when its down. so if it doesnt matter i might aswell have it like that.

It will automatically rise to standard ridehight once above a certain speed. Secondally I think 22" will catch when lowered.

22 won't catch when lowered, if they did you wouldn't be able to drive for the few secs before it raises automatically....real good reason not to do it, is because the ride is too hard in lowered position

I have to agree the ride is extremely HARD whilst lowered especially with bigger wheels (bigger the wheels harder the ride)

Consider learning more about the Mansory lowering module. I believe it's the same as the Rinspeed version as Mansory bought out Rinspeed.

It lowers the "normal" height setting to what you want it to be at.

The access and off-road modes do not change from factory.

I believe the stock Mansory setting is a 3/4 to 1" drop at normal height and I'm planning on sticking to this height on my 22" wheels. I just feel uncomfortable being more aggressive than this and imho, from a visual point of view, access height looks way too low on 285/35 tires. Right amount of gap is good on SUVs.

I've driven about 50 miles on the 22s and it rides great. I think people generally tend to blow things out of proportion on internet forums. Now if we're talking 23s, 24s, then that's pushing it.

I lowered my RRS with 22's ride was harsh raised the suspension back less than 500 miles later

ROK - you say lowering kits lower the standard driving hight? wtf he lied to me then when i bought it . i dont even think its lowered then to be honest. what a fool i will go kick his ass =) .

is there any way i can see if its lowered?
