Well i have a 255/55/18 F1 from the old vehicle hanging around, maybe we could give them away as a job lot of odd tyres WD... LR in their wisdom provided this as a spare whilst it was shod with Wrangler HP's and they refused to change it Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

I think you'd have to pay someone to actually take a set of Goodyear F1 Wranglers. They came fitted to mine when I bought it and I changed them as I thought they were the worst tyres I've ever had on a car. No grip in the dry, even less in the wet.

Hey there Zilch, We missed you in the weekend. We could build up an interesting job lot of tyres ![]() It is amazing what you can accumulate and stack in the back of the shed for a variety of reasons!! Just a white TDV8 with a few extras |

I replaced the F1's with Yokohama Advan ST V802 and they grip like chewing gum. Make the F1's feel like they were made of wood.

My F1s have been pretty good and have not had grip problems..I run them at the recommended pressures. On my second set now. 640Newton, maybe you have the Aussie disease of over inflating them.. Seems to be a big thing here. Never came across this when I was living in the UK. Just had a discussion on Aulro re this.

I also have an F1 available. (255 x 55 x R18) Been a spare since new so has not been on the road. Will be available in April when I'll be fitting Pirelli ATR's.

Well after me giving the F1s a good wrap I've just noticed a bulge on one of them that has only done 20000k. Went back to Beaurepairs and he checked if there were any in stock only to tell me that there were none in the country. To cap it all my spare ain't great!
