sound advice from motor trade contacts. Think about it. If an average car drops 50% in 2 years..... If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....

I disagree, at 3 years it will drop circa 50% but at £30k a £5k drop is a lot in 10 months, even for a V6 |

The good thing about forums is its all about opinions. I lost £6k per annum in my 3 and a bit years of RRS ownership. I have no reason (nor does Glass's Guide) to think that this will not continue into year 4 and 5. Higher oil costs (and the knock on affect with diesel price) and the road fund licence cost will compound this as the car get older. This wil drive older car costs down. If I'm wrong I'll eat humble pie. But my experience of buying high value cars (£50k plus over the last 20 years) tells me otherwise. Good luck.

The thing is over the past 3 years we have experienced some of the worst financial times in our history. I had a 911 a couple of years ago and lost £10k in as many months! Thankfully times are a little better now |
