Thanks, yes I have tried them and they offered me almost the same price. I was hoping to give a punter the benefit of a cheap car rather than the trade. Audi offered me £22k as part ex today - but the car I was after got sold while was haggling!

I have personal reasons for wanting to move the car on quickly now, so it will probably go to WBAC in the next week or so if not sold.

I just went onto WBAC as i was surprised to hear that you guys were getting such good quotes from these rip off merchants.....

Anyway, I have a Java black S/C 05 with 43k on the clock...the online valuation came back at £18,500 ??!! Like i said rip off merchants! Not sure why there is such a massive difference? Can anyone explain this?

My 05 S/C First Edition with 33k only came up with £20,050 so yours will be right for them. The FE commands a premium over the standard S/C (not much but every little helps) and the 10k less miles will equal circa £1k id think.

I wouldn't sell it to them anyway, just tried it out of interest.

I am not as clued up on the various editions of the RRS as yourself, but how do i know whether my S/C is a first edition or not? Is it on the log book? Apologies if this is a seriosly stupid question

Car is going to WBAC on Sunday. Real shame as I hate to think of her ending up in an auction. Be quick if you want an (even better) bargain!

The First Edition has rear dvd screens with audio controls in the doors and upgrade lined oak wood trim.
