RRS Steering Wheel Controls

Hi,

I have a very good set of steering wheel controls with adaptive cruies and radio controls for sale.

As new condition and no marks to the controls etc.

Looking for £45 inc postage to UK mainland only.

Here is a pic;

This was for a wheel and controls but the wheel has been sold seperatly. "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

Have not had a problem with them at any time - have you had your vehicle looked at for faults?

PM me if you are interested and payment can be sorted etc. "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

I have been looking for a new steering wheel but your price is close to that of the newer spec soft leather ones that appear on eBay.

Thats most likely why you haven't had any interest.

Who would need them mate? They are common on eBay anyway.

Anyone buying a new wheel to replace a worn one has these already. I think your asking too much for it and wont sell as a result.

VA, do you have a link to the D3 group buy please ?

Well actually, we have had lots of interest - just not finalised a deal yet.

For info the controls are starting to go wrong on some vehicles so there is a requirement for them as there is for a decent wheel and not everyone wants to change for the smooth leather ones as this then becomes a non-standard part (even though it s a LR wheel) and dealers are reducing the price offered for trade in cars as a result Thumbs Up

I know the above to be fact as I have had first hand experience of this and from 3 different dealers.

Is that for real Jasperoony?? The new smooth leather wheel really enhances the appearance and is a must have - in fact the people that came to see mine - thats the first thing they noticed - and if you're saying they offer less money (about £5 less?!!) - why do the dealers do the replacements themselves and sell and install?

Just curious, not having a pop mate...

Hi Nickm,

Yes its a fact, however as to the amount I suppose it will all depend on the dealer - I had other none std parts fitted such as a TP exhaust, Webasto heater unit etc etc so in total I was offered over £1000 less than a std vehicle.

Having said that, the 3 I went to see all said it was a none std part on my 57 plate vehicle which meant even though LR sell these and fit them it becomes an after market part. Now we all know dealers say many things to try to get you to either sell at a lower price or buy at a higher one but it was strange that they all noticed the steering wheel first Exclamation Exclamation "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

True - they wanted me to removed my 22 wheels, tinted rear lights and exhaust tips too if I p/ex with them.....sold it privately instead.

The wheel has now sold so this is for the controls only.

£45 delivered to UK mainland.
