Anyone interested? "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

I have been looking for a new steering wheel but your price is close to that of the newer spec soft leather ones that appear on eBay.

Well actually, we have had lots of interest - just not finalised a deal yet. For info the controls are starting to go wrong on some vehicles so there is a requirement for them as there is for a decent wheel and not everyone wants to change for the smooth leather ones as this then becomes a non-standard part (even though it s a LR wheel) and dealers are reducing the price offered for trade in cars as a result I know the above to be fact as I have had first hand experience of this and from 3 different dealers. "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

Is that for real Jasperoony?? The new smooth leather wheel really enhances the appearance and is a must have - in fact the people that came to see mine - thats the first thing they noticed - and if you're saying they offer less money (about £5 less?!!) - why do the dealers do the replacements themselves and sell and install?

The wheel has now sold so this is for the controls only.
