Must have had something up with it Nick... my TDV8 (with standard map) knocked the spots off my TDV6 D3 (with BAS MAP).. and now it's mapped I just grin like an ejit... trouble is I'm forever overtaking stuff... RRS gone

We are talking about the 2.7 Dave, I believe the 3.0 is a lot better, although I would still plump for the TDV8 for the extra grunt and V8 noise When I got my HST a few friends thought it was the SC after a few drive byes, it was only when it was ticking ove they thought it was a diesel |

gilford, to be honest ive never driven the v8, when i looked at the brochure, the torque figures for the new jag 3.0 v6 and the v8 were almost identical, so didnt see the need for the v8 personally, i only do about 10000 miles a year, so the difference in fuel is only about a fiver a week so wasnt an issue - i had heard that the jag engine was a cracker, so plumped for that!
