Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

[quote="gilford"]There's nigh on 100bhp and 3secs difference 0-60, plus 200nM of torque Shocked

I would say the one you test drove may have been a pig Whistle Wink[/quote

i think those figures are a bit out unless you are comparing the 2.7. the 3.0 v6 figures are closer, although there may be over 200hp difference, the torque figures are 600nm compared to 625 for the 5.0 supercharged which means in gear times shouldnt be that different
cheers

We are talking about the 2.7 Dave, I believe the 3.0 is a lot better, although I would still plump for the TDV8 for the extra grunt and V8 noise Bow down

When I got my HST a few friends thought it was the SC after a few drive byes, it was only when it was ticking ove they thought it was a diesel Rolling with laughter

gilford, to be honest ive never driven the v8, when i looked at the brochure, the torque figures for the new jag 3.0 v6 and the v8 were almost identical, so didnt see the need for the v8 personally, i only do about 10000 miles a year, so the difference in fuel is only about a fiver a week so wasnt an issue - i had heard that the jag engine was a cracker, so plumped for that!
cheers
dave

edited to say that after a certain age you yearn for peace and quiet Wink (see my previous cars at the bottom of the post!) MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged Wink ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps!
