Looks very nice with all the upgrades, one of the best around for those who like em that way, like me Very Happy

If im honest though, I wouldn't pay £28k for it with those miles. Without the HST its probably £18k - £20k at very best so add £4k for HST and wheels and that's where I think it would be valued at. What you getting offered ?.

It does look really nice and ofcourse this is just my opinion which you have asked us all to give.

You will be disappointed with an X5 after your RRS, its a 5 series on silts although the X5 diesel will feel nicer than the 2.7 RRS Whistle

Wow thats priced high.

I would suggest selling some items individually, the wheels for instance and the bodykit.

Good luck with the sale but i think you will be lucky to sell it for that price. No offence intended.

Thanks for the replys, to be honest I have been told it is priced on the high side. Its just i have spent so much money on it I know who ever buys it will not have to spend on it. Please can you give an idea how much I should price it at, or if there is anyone on here who would be interested in buying it. As I have seen an x5 I want to buy. thanks

Your best bet maybe is to strip it back to standard but only if you have customers for all the parts beforehand, so i'll start first i'll have your rear lights please £200 + mine Thumbs Up Good luck with the sale

tbh i think you will be lucky to see 20k

You never make money back on putting mods on a car. They only ever make it more attractive to a potential buyer, the other side is you also limit your buyer when you have a moded car, one mans beauty is anothers beast.

If you like i would be interested in buying the HST kit and give you my Java original bumpers etc to put back on too if you get to the stage where you consider returning it to original condition.

Just to give an idea of market value at the moment:

I agree with other members comments - from experience adding extras does not add value Big Cry

Usedcarexpert.co.uk

Low price Fair price Top price
£20,435 £21,973 £23,072

Looking at Autotrader a 55 with 84k for £18 495 Sad

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/used/ca...t/priceasc

In the past I have looked at guide prices but what really matters is the price others are on ebay, autotrader, etc - that is your competition - not what it says in the book Evil or Very Mad

You may be lucky and find someone looking for something different and with the weather pushing up values who knows Confused

I too think selling extras separate may be best bet Embarassed Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

Despite what book says i think to the right buyer it would fetch £22k ish. It has had a lot of extras and a lot of people go for that.

As i said earlier £18k + £4k for HST & alloys = £22k but only to a buyer who isn't bothered about mileage and wants looks.

Should make 25.5/26 K..is that what you had in mind? Mine on a 56 (07 model) had 66k miles and full history and spec, flew ok at just under 24K

Must agree with others on the cost. I have a standard HSE with 65k on it on an 05 plate and was going to advertise it at the end of march for around the £20k mark.
