If you search on Pistonheads for HST's there are loads there for reasonable money?? Some have even had their prices dropped since I was looking a few weeks ago

I'm happy boys with the almost £35k so long as it has gone to a good home....I'm sure I could have got more if I was bothered to have lots of idiots ringing me up or wanting to visit my house!

Anyway I am now the happy owner of a 58 D3 HSE which will do me fine for a while until I really decide what to have next, quite suprised at how nice it actually is!!!!

I was only joking mate,glad to hear you've got fixed up,what's it like in comparison,you should be able to empathise with a lot of your "customers" now  MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

Its a lot better than I expected it to be, it has all the same functions as the HST drives quite nice, a little more 'boaty' but nice over bumps without the harsh ride of the sport, would never be brave enough to put it into a corner like I would the HST.
It feels very gutless compared to the TDV8 but then mine was chipped, might consider messing with the TDV6 mapping....however the computer said 36mpg after a 45 mile trip home which was nice!

I'm sure it will take a little time to get used to but as a compromise goes I am more than happy with it.....will no doubt love it next time I go diving when I can fit loads more kit in the boot.
