So what's your verdict on the TD6 FFRR then VA? My opinion is that is a wheezy carthorse compared to the Sport........................... and I owned one for 2 years! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I think you are being far to generous in your comments Tim! I always wanted a FFRR and now I hate them! It's sluggish, uncormfortable and the interior is crap! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

There is only one thing I really miss from the FFRR that the sport doesn't have. Mine was an SE so didn't have all the electronic toys, TV set etc of the HSE and Vogue, but that meant that in the boot on the left side there was a massive stowage area where I could keep all the seat covers, a boilersuit, gloves, portable compressor, windscreen additive and extra water etc that I cannot carry on a long trip now in the Sport without loosing a heap of boot space by carrying a box full of gear. I loved my FFRR and reckoned that it was the most comfortable car I had ever owned............... until the Sport arrived, and it is just light years ahead of the FFRR in seat comfort, ride quality, NVH and engine performance. I just cannot understand why people are still buying TD6 RR's when they could have a so much better car in the TDv6 Sport. The V8 is a totally different matter though - smooth, quiet and torquey, but then you have to suffer 17mpg and a much higher purchase price for it!

and it looks like one of the kids must have been under the bonnet when the car rolled over...clearly not in an ISOFIX seat. L319 D4 HSE
