Hi guys,I have been searching for a RRS since my last post(thanks for all your replys).I have found this which I am viewing tomorrow.Now I am parting with 20k cash if this is ok so would very much appreciate any views on this vehicle.Also any tips/advice on what to look for/check would be very much appreciated.

Great! What colour? I have 07 TDV8 in Tonga with that light interior. Great combo, which is rare & people love it, but yours may be black??

Things to look out for - I guess it is a private sale, & out of warranty, so look for usual things - any service history? Ask if front bushes been replaced lately - check for a knock on small bumps in road...loads on that issue on the site. Check charging properly - alternators can be an issue but usually on TDV8. Check underneath for signs of offroading. Make sure Heated Rear Window working - some have been tempramental. In fact check all things electrical - windows etc etc.

Good news. Frankly, unless I am shouted down, I dont believe 80k is an issue, but if you are a 20k miler per annum, it will quickly rack up over 100k... If like me it is a 2nd car doing just sub 10k p.a. I wouldnt worry. I keep a bit of an eye on values, & 06 at £20k looks okay. Some 05s are now high teens. Depreciation doesnt seem an issue at mo - hard winter helped values. I reckoned on losing £4k p.a. when I bought mine but I dont think that has happened in the last year.

Sorry forgot to add its a 2.7hse,Unless something drastically changes in my life it would take me all on 4 years to put 20k on that mileage It will be sat on my drive 99% of the time,now my van thats a different story

Well I've only gone and done it and joined the club :DWhen people say the pics.dont do it justice you tend to think yeah ok,but I can honestly say it was worth the 300 mile round trip,now just got to do it again a week saturday to collect it

You wont regret it. Enjoy it & you will smile every time you get in!
