300miles on half tank of fuel

traveled from blyth in northumberland to just north of inverness (300miles) dead on half a tank of fuel when we got there not bad for such a big motor forgot to mention the girlfriend was at the wheel would have been a full tant if it was me looks like she's got a new driveing job rob telford

Yep that made me ditch my s/c for a TDV8. I did 800 miles over one long weekend and it cost me over £300 in fuel Big Cry

2006 tdv6 HSE 430 miles on a full tank, 100 miles motorway driving 70-80ish then the rest on a-b roads equates to 22-23 mpg average exactly what the computer said too, average speed also 23mph. that was with asda fuel and a little bit of two stroke, now i'm on shell fuel and no 2 stroke so lets see if there is much difference, Oh and only 43000 miles on the clock.

It is possible, but usually when a good bit warmer. Below genuine, not rest then coasted down hill, actual was 35.something:

i find it hard running a td6 these's days must be a nigthmare running a petrol rangie iv been trying the 2stroke in my diesel for the last 6 weeks it seems to work for me its smoover and getting better mpg just to be sure i also put it in my van and defender 90 300tdi and it does make a difference rob telford

Whats this about 2 stroke in a deisel Rolling Eyes Question  SDV8 vogue SE.
Corris grey and ivory leather + most of the toys.

if you have alook elsewhere on the forum there are some posts about the advantages of putting 2stroke in your diesel so i gave it a go and it does work with no damage to your motor rob telford
