I've just seen an advert for an 08 HST that is still under warranty for 6 months but it has genuine 22" Overfinch wheels fitted,can anyone confirm for definite if LR will refuse to let me extend the warranty with those wheels on it? MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

i have renewed my warranty on 2 cars with 22s

we have bought a Kahn RS600 cosworth from main dealer with 22s although they did remove all kahn logos

told me as it came from them warranty is not an issue

also they dont look at your car when extending anyway..

But if there was a problem and they did see them do you think it would invalidate the warranty.

Don't rely on LR warranty coughing up if there's a suspension issue.

You need to be sure that its not Kahn or Overfinch whose is saying that there is warranty. These companies stand on their own and must provide their own backing for work they do.

As I mentioned in the 'General' posting, I believe/hear LR is tightening its view of covering repairs to suspension/steering systems under their warranty when oversize wheels and low profile rubber is involved.

Go down this road with your eyes open.

I back that. Pratstones have sold new cars with 22's on them, but I know dealers will turn ulu away on warranty re suspension the moment they see your big wheels. Had issues on mine but worked out ok in the end
