Denmark 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
The infamous alternator problem strikes again

Red battery icon is permanently on in dashboard. When I crank up the radio, the message "low battery" is displayed just like when the car is turn off.

Is it the dreaded alternator problem there seems to be the flu epidemic of the RRS and Discos at the moment?

It's a 2007 TDV8 and we have had a few very cold winters here in Denmark, so I don't understand why it should go now, when the temperature is above freezing and the load is not that high compared to what it has been.

Is this becoming such a commen problem that it is no longer a coincident all the reports comes at the same time, but a faulty series of alternators? RRS TDV8 HSE in Stornoway Grey/Alpaca/Rhodium/Multimedia/Privacy Glass

Yes, it was the alternator.

The car is at the MD to have it changed. RRS TDV8 HSE in Stornoway Grey/Alpaca/Rhodium/Multimedia/Privacy Glass
