what possiable could solve the problem??? :(

here i have a 2008 range rover sport, i changed the diesel filter on it, opend the bleed screw from the top of the engine, Turned the vechile over.. To try to get some fuel to come through ive had no joy in this as it wont start. any soloutions or advice would be Great,
