I was gone for a week and got in my car and put the lights in the "auto" position
but they did not come on after dark and the little green light in the instrument cluster
also did not illuminate. If i turn the switch one click back to left they come on and little green
light is illuminated. Anyone else had this problem? Thx! Mike mike murphy

It's part of the same sensor that controls the auto wipers, so is located against the windscreen behind the rear view mirror. The light sensor is incorporated in the rain/light sensor located on the inside of the windshield, below the rear view mirror.
