Thanks Bell Auto, it does it all the time though, is it something that needs rectifying, the others we have had have never done it?

Turned out to be the left sided EGR Valve that was clicking, cost about £380 fitted at local main dealer |

If all these egr valves that are prone to failing why isn't there a recall? why should us the consumer pay for their replacment if out of warranty? Land rover know they are a weak spot so why not get it sorted or haven't they upgraded the egr to last longer, if it was me i would replace with a new one then blank it off.
