does it lose all power when this happens ?

No there is no loss of power, just a loss of traction and braking aides Shocked just imagine it happening on a bend in the wet/or dry for that matter and some numb nuts cutting me up.. Not acceptable

LR customer care and the dealers actually told us not to drive the vehicle in this state, that means it cannot be driven anywhere Evil or Very Mad Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Latest Update from Service dept

Diagnostics are pointing to a faulty wheel speed sensor that also provides feedback for ABS, Traction Control etc, lets hope they are right, because if it goes faulty again the car is being returned on a full time basis Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Had that with my D3 - two (diagonally opposite) sensors were faulty, but diagnostics could only pick up one at a time! Get them to recheck after fitting.

cheers Gordon and will do.

Biggest problem, they are still trying to source the parts and we cannot expect the car to be back before this Friday (21st). So out of 7 weeks ownership, LR would have had it in for nearly 3 weeks in total.. Not impressed
and a note has gone to the head of LR Australia.. Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

The prodigal heap was returned on Saturday and it has managed to run now for nearly 3 whole days without any major incidents, which is a record... Laughing Big Cry fingers crossed/touch wood that it continues in this vain Whistle

I had two issues, the vehicle was with them for two weeks and was not even cleaned, so returned with some of the grime i had on it plus 2 weeks accumulation of crap.. and also it has now a damaged alloy that i picked up on when i first saw the vehicle when returned.. Two cylindrical indentations directly opposed on the rim, one of which is quite deep, plus a major scratch on the alloy coating as well (could be a ratchet), just waiting to see what LR say about it.. and no it has not been kerb'd, the damage is to precise and well laid out ...
