Are Adaptive Xenons REALLY not adjustable?

I know they all dazzle... and I know people say they self level... and mine do the whole "dance" on startup... but getting flashed 4 times in just 2 miles last night?!! it's getting really tedious!

Is there REALLY no way of lowering them a smidge?

I never had this problem with my D3 xenons RRS gone

What you did not know was that the headlamps have two adjustment screws on the rear which allow for the manual setting of the vertical and horizontal alignment. Wink

And for your information, if you're doing it yourself, the headlamp setting is 1.2 % below horizontal and parallel. Cool Malaysia Boleh!

I've never been flashed and seeing other Sports I've never thought the lights are too high. Sounds like yours do need adjusting. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Nice one bobby Thumbs Up

Any clue as to the screw locations? I'm assuming they must be in a location that they can be adjusted with the clusters "in situ" RRS gone

Before you do any adjustments check that the flap inside the unit isn't sticking.

1. Park facing a wall.
2. Switch your headlights on and watch the dance.
3. check the levels.
4. Put the lights onto full beam.
5. Check the level has returned to previous.

There is a flappy panel inside the light that can get stuck giving the impression to oncoming drivers that you have your full beam on. If this is your problem get the light replaced if under warranty, if not under warranty it's easy to do a bodge job. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Cheers VA

I'll do that 1st but I'm sure the dip/beam is working fine (nice horizontal line visible when driving, it's just so high and the slightest bump or acceleration results in it creeping half way up the rear screen of the car in front

Now booked it in at local stealer £30 job apparently Thumbs Up RRS gone
