Just wondering did LR UK sell a naturally aspirate, ie non supercharged petrol model?

Only the 2005 G4 vehicles that they released to the 2nd hand market. I'm pretty sure no non S/C sports were released otherwise but ISTBC. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

There were quite a few non-G4 retailed and we often take them back in part-exchange even now. Only a handful mind you, as the MPG was lower than SC as was the performance and trim levels.

We sold a nice Black/Black with 20" in the summer. They can be good value for money as they are not as valuable as 2.7 of the same age.

Only reason I ask is because there's a mate of mine - Ewok who was briefly on here until people told him how dangerous his home made 7 seated mod was maintains his 4.2 s/c will do between 450 - 500 miles per fill aka 28 - 30 mpg

I have argued with him that it's not possible - even LR themselves say the s/c on extra urban run will only do approx 22

Can anyone confirm he's likely talking crap

he's honestly fell out with me over it!

he claims his E46 M3 (which has a 60litre petrol tank) will do 500 miles when his wife is driving it too - this equated to 41mpg!
