sorry if this is a thick question but what keeps the rack on the swan neck ball.does it not rock from side to side?

It's basically a moulded clamp that bolts tight and grips the ball, so to speak

I'm looking for a bike rack and have been wondering the same thing. But this looks ideal, might nip down to the local Halfords tomorrow

cheers nik,no photo's on thule and staff at halfords are useless.
