squeaky brakes quite common. Just brake dust build up. Get the pads checked at a local garage. If they are more than 70% worn, get them replaced and have all the brake components blasted by an airline. This will cure the squeak. Had mine done twice.
The amber gearbox light coming on is more of a worry. Last time mine came on (and stayed on) the EGR valves had to be done. Thankfully this was done under warranty. Others will advise on the forum on this I am sure....
