Luckily Bobby has posted the front and rear bumper cover removal procedures in his gallery:

Thank you Bobby!

I removed my front bumper cover a couple of days ago for access to the parking sensor wiring. Easy to do with a second pair of hands and the car with suspension set in the highest position. Rear bumper cover looks like it might take a little more time but still a straight forward process.

From reading through other posts I believe the replacement of the faulty sensor is enough and then the control unit reverts to normal operation. I wont be able to test this for sure until my replacement sensors arrive and I change it over.

My sensor problem is an intermittent error in the dash saying the front pdc is inactive. I opted to check the wiring and then order replacement sensors to swap over, probably this weekend. The intermittent error is worst in damp conditions and a real PITA because it blocks the rear sensors from working.

Good luck with yours, a bit of searching here and on the disco3 site reaps massive rewards in the form of really good info. I have learnt a lot in the last couple of months since being a RRS owner and browsing these great resources.

I had the same fault, but traced it to the offside front sensor.

I managed to swap it without removing the bumper, its a tight squeeze but do-able! I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....

I put the car in reverse like someone else said on this site and listen for the clicking on each sensor and they said the 1 that's not clicking is the faulty 1 but all mine are clicking front and rear so do you think it could be a fault on the wires somewhere Sad paul

Sorry, I don't know the answer to the sensor clicking question. However, I have ordered the 4 oem sensor set from ebay for £60 and plan to change all four fronts.

Bit of a sledge hammer to crack a nut approach but all my sensors are discoloured so aiming to save time and money in the long run by changing all 4 on the front.
