Can you help? I'm planning on buying a car from Stratstone and wanted to know if it would be worth buying the additional warranty... They are giving only three months with the car - but an optional 9 months (or 12 months at a cost of 700...?)

Is it worth this or could I buy this elsewhere? Your advice is much appreciated!

Have they explained why they are only offering 3 months not the standard 12 months for an approved LR deal? MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

I bought my car from Stratstones at Mayfairs. Did not like the service at all, the agent I was dealing with had no shame whatsoever. I hope a different guy takes care of you but it looks like it is not... lol What they are tying to do with you is a complete bs.

Looks like they have been economical with the truth you might like to have a word with the great guys not too far away at Lookers and see if they have anything similar coming into stock.
Failing that just insist AFTER you have negotiated the deal that before you sign you want the standard 12 month warranty.

I would use this possible con trick to try and get a better deal out of Stratstones. I would also inform LR that one of their dealers is doing things differently to that stated on the LR web site. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

Guys, Just a quick question... if i decide to leave the warranty out... and take the three months - can I add this on at a later date with another dealer or the same?
