How many of you have lost...

The plastic trim from the door panels in the snow?

My drivers side came off, found it but someone had run over it Sad The passengers side looks like it will come off soon but im Censored if I can get it off by hand.

Seen a few discos missing theirs too. You would think that the design boys at LR would have thought of this and left more clearance between the panel and the side steps.

Mine are colour coded so its going to have to go to the spray shop. I've also lost the front bumper skirts Sad

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

do you mean the side skirts at the bottom of the drivers door? I do not have steps on mine (don't like them), but the plastic skirts at the bottom of my doors have came loose several times. They have been off once to get painted (color coded) and this has weakened the retaining clips. I have had the car back to the body shop 3 times for new clips. This time, they also used a black sealant to bond them on as well. So far so good. I was lucky - the one time the drivers door one fell off. It happened as I entered my drive after coming back from Kilmarnock and landed safely on the grass beside the house.

Merry Christmas!

Yeah thats the ones. They were fine but the recent snow and ice builds up on the side step so when you shut the door it rips the trim off Sad

Oh well, its a good excuse to get some more colour coding done but not until this snow has gone.

Merry Christmas to you too Smile
