Very sensitive PDC - Is this normal behaviour ?

Hi all

It seems (cant be sure it does this every time but it does it a lot) that whenever i come to a round about, slow down to crawling pace or stop at a junction my PDC turns on and needless to say anything near the RRS sets the beep beep off. I can be at a junction and the traffic going past about 10 feet (possibly more) away will cause a beep.

It seems very sensitive to me, is this normal behaviour for the RRS ? I dont think any sensors are bad it just seems as if the perimeter is set a bit too close for my liking, anyone else found this?

Should it switch on based on my speed?

Thanks

Carl

Carlos, I don't know if you have owned this 2005 vehicle from new but the older models have had these overly sensitive front PDC problems. Do a search.

Anyway, LR did come out with a SOLUTION.

Whether this applies to your vehicle I'm not sure. If it does, most probably this upgrade was not done to your vehicle so you need to find out. Wink Malaysia Boleh!
