How do i remove 1 piece outer door handles ?

Hi all

I have an early 2005 RRS S/C and have just bought some replacement colour coded door handles and because its an early car it has the 1 piece door handles which don't have covers to clip off and change.

I think i have read that i may need to remove the door panels internally so access the release clips for the outer handles but i have some LR info that seems to suggest i don't. As usual though the LR instructions aren't the greatest and i thought id ask on here.

Has anyone done this for 1 piece handles and can give me extra advise / hints please?
