so definitely it will 2007 model
I hope we could see new color for new year...bigger supercharged Wink
to push it for 400 hp plus..ACC-Adaptive Cruise Control with switch between
normal cruise and adaptive, push bottom start switch, less technical issues, like vibration, faulty messages and air suspension faults
I hope to have it with fully aluminum body for less weight similar to first old land-rover and current Jaguar

Interesting Sportman.

Personally, I think what you say is absolutely spot on. S/C engine is capable of delivering a lot more power than it does at the mo.

The only fly in the ointment is aluminium body. Aluminium = £££££ but the pay off is obviously less weight. Yer pays yer money... Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Zambezi Silver

Contacted dealer today and went with the 2007 model. Apparantly extras are the telephone integration system, centre console cooler box and something about a diffuser or along those lines not to sure as I wsa very busy at the time.

Asked about the V8 and she rang Landrover directly, they said it would be another couple of months before the spec and prices would be released and depending on launch I could possibly face a wait till next year for delivery. Crying or Very sad

Although on the bright side she has registered my interest and if it turns out different from above will change my order directly to the V8. Very Happy

I have to decide whether to order a 06 or 07 S/C soon. Are there any differences like mild facelift or so? Does the 07 have anything more as standard that the 06 doesnt? pls let me know its quite urgent

Based on Tonys post above, it sounds like a few hundred quids worth of goodies (PTI is a must!)

I don't think they'll go in for radical changes in terms of a facelift but a diffuser? That sounds intriguing....

The big deciding factor in all this is how quickly you want your car!

If you want it sooner then get '06

If you are happy to wait a bit longer then get your order in now for an '07 model.

If you were to sell your car on, an '07 would probably be more attractive to a buyer than an '06.

I'm afraid it seems as simple as that. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

My local dealer is clueless. Thinks there will be no changes

Sapkan, I will be one Censored off customer if there are no added extras, otherwise I might as well throw a couple of grand down the toilet.

I'll check it ou t in the morning as the owner of the dealership is back to work now.

I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if they throw in the PTI & cooler for the 2007MY - means they'll have to stick something extra into the SC where they're already standard kit. Don't know as if they need to get excited about diffusers though. Given the HST, their attempt at "sportifying" a car hasn't been very successful.

my dealer said he would give me the same price for the 06 and 07 car but I would have to wait an extra month for the 07. I wont bother as November seems too far away

Confirmed with dealer today and the 2007 model will have the added extras:

Dynamic Pack
Centre console cooler box
Telephone (Bluetooth) intergration

So taking into account the cost of the Dynamic pack it's not bad value.

Good point.

Probably have to whip a couple of items from the FFRR, I suspect. Reversing camera? I'd be happy just to have a clock somewhere you can see it! Laughing

I had a Galaxy once (twice, actually) and it had a clock above the windscreen so that everyone in the car could see the time. Genius! RRS 4.2 S/C. Zermatt. Tints. Stormers. 150+ paint defects, wonkey bonnet, scratches, detached doorseal. suspension faults. To sum it up, a 60k pile of cr4p!

My mum's 1984 Rover 213SE even has a clock like that. It's not rocket science is it.... it's not like LR have overlooked clock location in all their cars - the wife's FL has a clock that everyone can see perfectly well. Why the RRS clock got hidden away on the audio display I don't know.
