LED Headlight Conversion/Colour Coding + TV/RSE?

Hi all

Couple of questions please; on the Hawke website they have the following LED conversion:

http://www.hawkewheels.com/gallery/09/sportlighting.htm

However upon calling them I was told they don't offer this currently due to reliability issues.

Initally I wasn't thinking of getting LED lights (veering toward '09 rears + colour-coded fronts) but these really caught my eye - anyone know of another company who do similar in/near London?

Related to the above; in the past I gleaned a number (from a search on here) of a company that does colour coding for headlights but for the life of me I can't find the details so if anyone knows please let me know - I think they might have been called AutoTech or similar (pretty sure they had 'Tech' in the name).

Lastly, any pointers for getting aftermarket Digital TV plus in-headrest screens? Would go via Chorley but too far from me Sad

Currently only have the factory sat-nav, not bothered with DVD/Console, just the ability to have TV (FreeView) on all three screens (on the move) and sound via the speaker system (not headphones only).

Thanks in advance!

Ali

Don't you mean 2010 for the new style LED rear lights ?. They need resistors to work.

I prefer the 09 which you mention on the thread, plug and play + look much nicer imo

I've bought Tim's lights, some of the LEDs in one of the lights have discoloured to look at when swhitched off but still work and are as bright as the rest of the LEDs when switched on. They got my car through the MOT back in october and I use them when I'm back in the UK

^^^

Thanks all for your input.

Get the impression LED headlight conversions can be a little unreliable? Hawke have stopped doing them for this reason as mentioned above & Martin@DCC said likewise.

I think it was Revere I spoke to about headlight colour coding (I know, sounds nothing like AutoTech!).

So, I might just (unless I can find reliable/robust LED ones) get front colour coded + rear '09 (i.e. non-LED as Carlos mentioned).

Still keen to get information/advice on TV/RSE retrofit in London area so please speak up if you know!

Thanks

Ali
