England 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
F/S RRS TDV8 In Stornoway - SOLD

Hi Folks,

Firstly, I will make a site donation once the vehicle is sold regardless of if it is through this site or not.

Now then, I have decided to sell my much loved RRS TDV8 and have placed an order for a new FFRR Exclamation Exclamation Sorry folks but I just need a change Thumbs Up

Anyway, the new RR does not arrive till March but I thought I should advertise mine straight away and she is available straight away.

She is an MY08 on a 57 plate and is 3 years old on the 7th Dec 2010. I am the first and only owner and she has covered 37600 miles and has a full service history, a NEW MOT with no problems (till 06/12/2011) and has just been in for a full LR check prior to my purchasing the extended warranty - this runs till 06/12/2011 and can be extended again then and is transferable.

She is in Stronoway Grey with premium black leather which is un-marked and has the following extras over and above the HSE spec;

Side Steps
Rubbing Strips/Side Mouldings
Additional Spots (included in the foglight surrounds)
Pureguard Paint Protection
Front and Rear Mudflaps
Chrome Mirror caps
Quick Release Tow Bar
Carpet Mat Set - Premium

Thanks to Bell Auto Services she also has a heated steering wheel from a 2010 MY model and the pre-heater unit (Webasto) that can be set to come on in the morning or you can phone it and switch it on at any time.

Tyres were new some 3000 miles (all replaced at the same time) ago and the brakes were replaced about 5000 miles ago - both pads and discs all round.

Finally, she has the Stormer wheels (genuine LR) as opposed to the V spokes from the Supercharged that were originally fitted.

Now to the price, been looking at several sites and think £33,500 is reasonable especially with the added bits.

Thanks for looking and I will try and get some pics up asap.

Forgot (until I was walking back to her today) I have a full cat back stainless steel sports exhaust from Twisted Performance on which sounds awesome from the outside but is slightly quieter from the inside but still lets you know its a TDV8 engine Thumbs Up "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

Was at the Metro Ctr today and they were offering car washes inside so decided to get her done as I still can't get the garage door open due to the snow Rolling Eyes

Anyway, here are a couple of pics - please remember it was a bloke at the Metro Ctr that did this so she is still not clean in my opinion Thumbs Up

Hi Nik,

Thats a tough question as I live on the coast and dont really do alot of town miles but on average she reads 24/25 when I am going from where we live to the town and around the doors sort of journey. On a run she goes up to 27/29 and higher depending on what speeds you are doing on the m/way etc. Have had 31 on a long trip but was only doing 65/75 most of the way.

Hope this helps. "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

Pete from BAS and I fitted it - I bought the parts, webasto control unit and the phone unit and then we fitted it one afternoon.

As for warranty, never had a problem but I suppose it all depends on your dealer as it is a none standard part Rolling Eyes

My dealer did not say anything, but then again they did not say anything about the heated steering wheel or the Twisted exhaust Exclamation Exclamation "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

Sorry guys but I can't really help you with the Webasto heater as I have had mine fitted for some 18 months. You can do a search under Webasto on ebay and you may find the black control unit and then you need a phone unit but please dont ask me which one as I dont know anymore Crying or Very sad

I have sopken to Pete at BAS - please dont all go off and ring him, and he is working on an "all in one" solution that may be available soon but it is not a high priority for him.

I am sure there are threads on here about the Webasto units and how to do it/fit one so maybe try a search on here Question

Pete will post sometime later as I have asked him to. "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
