rear window heating/defrosting

Hi everybody,
It was really freezing night in here. In the morning my RR was completly white. So I turned on defrosting program. Front windscreen was clean after few minutes but rear window didn't respond. Rear heating/defrosting is not working at all. I tried many times during the day.

Do you have any clue what to check? It is out of warranty, so I don't want to see my dealer if is not necessary.

Thanks

Michael

I did change the fuse...still not working...I think last time I saw it working 3 - 4 weeks ago...it wasn't so cold...since last week temp.dropped from -2 to -9. I checked the lines again - no damage...i would check the wiring under rear spoiler but don't know how

Hi,
Connected to this, mine only works on half the screen as I think there must be a break in it, can you still purchase repair "paint" for it?

Had the same issue last winter and it was fixed by a local dealer under warranty. They said it was due to a connection which had come apart and I believe they said it was behind the trim in the drivers footwell. I got the impression that this was not an uncommon happening. Gordon Kerr
