Just before going away I was visiting a client, and whilst reversing up to the car behind me, I had a huge crash against something - and up on the parked verge was a lamp post - the parking sensor only picked it up as I hit it - and there went the rear bumper!

After looking round, and calling parts depts and people on here - James at Lookers kindly advises he has a new rear bumper, in black, in the dealers - and just as I get my credit card out - he tells me I can have it for free!

Now how good is that? I offered a few times to make a token gesture, but he wouldn't have it - so Martin, owner of this great site will be getting £25 and another £25 to Help a London Child Charity

I only wish I was nearer to LPR

I have been dealing with LRCS since June to try and get a promised 50% goodwill cheque from Stratstone Hull - lost count of the excuses but cheque finally came saturday - £13 short

Payment relates to clutch problem looked at by Armstrong Massey under warranty but which then failed just outside warranty and they offered no help so went to Stratstone

I have also now discovered set of wheels purchased from Armstrong Massey for my FL1 (also from AM) are not compatible but they don't want to know  Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

It is a real delight to here of Service to this extent. It is a rarity for dealers to go above and beyond. Most dealers are very short sighted and don't see the big picture as lookers do whom i have never dealt with in the past as they are not my local dealer However seeing how they act as a company (Providing Sales are as professional) It even makes me think i will contact them when i purchase my wife's new RRS S/C.
