Land Rover released an updated list of the winter tyres that they currently approve.

I was a passenger in a RRS that had a new set of the latest Grabber ATs. Very impressed with the ride, cornering and quietness.

Having now checked handbook winter sizes it would appear size difference is 4.8% - presumably this was a mistake and the amendment corrects this

The online handbook still gives 255/65 R19 111H as the correct winter tyre for the 2011 Disco 4. Landrover's Customer Relations Executive Mrs M Stokes confirmed this as correct, although I doubt she knew what a tyres aspect ratio means. Interestingly, when I asked to speak to someone at Landrover's Technical department she said they don't have a technical department. Why Landrover puts anyone with zero mechanical knowledge as their first any only point of contact frightens me. |
