Bluetooth phone connection

I have the integrated bluetooth system which pairs up OK with my Nokia 6230 but will not see the phonebook. If the phonebook is accessed through the buttons on the fascia it just says"memory empty". I can receive calls OK and dial manually but cannot access the entries on my mobile other than byusing the mobile itself.

The dealer is looking into it but I wondered if anyone has had similar problems and knows of a solution.

is this the factory fitted system ? or the dealer fit option. I had been told that the 6230 would fully work by Landrover but only on the factory fit option.??

I have also been told that my current 6230 would have full integration when coupled with the factory fit PTI option.
Have also been shown this working correctly on the demo drive that i have had. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Yes, it's the factory fit option. I've tried it with another mobile as well just in case that was the problem.

The phones are on the accessories price list elsewhere on the site.

I have specified PTI in the RRS that I have orderd and hope it all works well.
Its bad enough driving and using youre mobile but having to drive using it while having PTI installed and not working correctly must be very annoying. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Bluetooth only

Assuming I only have a bluetooth connection to the phone system in the truck, what features (phone book, voice dialing, etc.) can I use? Thanks,
BGreig

You can use the in-car voice dialing, which is independent from your phone.

Direct phone book access & call log (via stereo head unit) are unavailable without docking. And, obviously, the phone won't charge or use the external antenna.

With my Nokia 9300 I have a very good bluetooth connection with the built-in PTI system, but I really need on screen a view of my phonebook of the Nokia 9300. The only thing we need is the right connector Exclamation (from the car to the cradle) in order to create my own cradle. Nobody knows where to find such a connector. Please Help.
PS: I will sent pictures of the connection cables to Martin.

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

Hi I have a Nokia 6680 and LR dont make a cradle, My car is due next week and i was going to look into this, i was hoping that as this system is a nokia/LR system that if I could find the main car kit unit it would just need a cable the same a the nokia pop port cable, I intend on following the cable from the arm rest to find the main unit. if this works then may be all we need is a pop port cabel and the right nokia cradle...how ever i also think this may not work on the basis that this kit also support hardwired other vendor phones.

I will report back when i have it in bits
