2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Galway Green

4WD will always be better than 2WD, especially if the Jag was rear wheel drive. I've got the standard conti's and although I've never been stuck I did come close last winter. I'd would have much more confidence with winter tyres. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

It took 18 inches of snow yesterday to defeat the X5 for the first time this winter. Sorting that out with a set of proper winter tyres in the next couple of days though. So far its been pretty well 100% better than everyone predicted it would be and thats on summer tyres!!! It's slipped a couple of times but the electronics sort it out with no drama at all!!

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Alanad,

I got rid of a Nissan 350Z for the RRS and have been driving between Edinburgh and Glasgow all this week in some of the worst snow seen on the M8 in recent years. I LOVE MY RRS, first time in 5 years i've not been facing the wrong way with artics bearing down on me, and on 20" standard tyres.

Little bit of care/caution/ and dare I say it skill will get you through more than you ever imagined in the sport. GGS mode and a keen eye on the other invinsible numpties screaming past you out there and you'll be all good mate.

Bullet Thumbs Up
