Do you guys think I will be able to drive straight out of this with road tyres? I've got about half a mile of this ungritted or ploughed before I reach a very steep hill to get onto the main road.

It looks like you've got 20's on, so take it steady but I would expect a RRS to be able to get through that fairly easy. |

![]() ![]() Well in my bazaar way of thinking, his car is already burred in snow so a little more wont hurt. However my car is tucked away with a space heater, a blanket, and a mug of coco. |

GGS, Offroad height (only to get out of where you are at the mo) and high range. Drive gently, not too fast that you loose control or have problems braking but not to slow that you don't have any momentum. Just let the car sort out a lot of the decisions. Carry a shovel, if you have one, to dig out the snow from in front of your wheels if you get stuck. I drove straight out of this without any drama, you need a bit of momentum but not to the extent that you just dig yourself in. Enjoy!!

Thanks - I'll see how it goes - my road will never be ploughed this side of Christmas so I need to take action! |

From the pic there is a set of tracks to follow, once you get in them you should be able to avoid broadsiding. After a few runs up & down you should have a good little snow road. |

Standard 19" Y spoke Landrover wheels that fit over the Brembo brakes as fitted to the 08MY TDV8, tyres are Goodyear Wrangler MT/R 255/55 R19 They are very difficult to get as I don't think they are made any longer, I've had this set for 3 years now and still have a lot of tread left on them.
