Hi has any one had problem with egr valve rrs 2005? Mine is smoking when started and lack of power are these related to egr valve any help much appreciated. cheers

EGRs on a car this age could well be a problem but you're likely to get an engine warning if there's a problem with them. Drop the car off to a dealer to check because it could be a number of things. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

hey! had the same problem....does it smoke when you floor it?mine did....horribly....had a hole in the intercooler....replaced it.....problem solved, but a month later the hose between the intercooler and the intake just "exploded" causing the same problem....replaced that too and now it runs like a champ. have a mechanic check your intake pressure because black smoke and lack of power can mean only one thing....bad air/fuel mix.

Hi been to land rover main dealer today and N/S EGR valve is not working properly so glad its only that! But there is one thing will i run 2 stroke oil in it again i think not!!!!
