Auxilary Heater

My 2010 HSE has, according to hte dealer , an auxilary heater. Apparently it operates automatically !

We have no remote control or optons in the menu.

Anyone know under what circunstances ir comes on and goes off?

Sometimes known as fuel fired heater.

Because of the efficency of the Diesel engine, it would take AGES for the engine to get upto "normal" running temp....so they added this heater, which heats the coolant, not the cabin.

It is fully automatic.
