I hear a lot about remaps verses adding a piggyback chip. On my 2008 TDV8 I was very happy with a remap style
enhancement. Changed the vehicle to a 2010 TDV8 and none of the site sponsors could provide me with a remap solution. Apparently the remap through port in the under the steering wheel area was blocked by something in the new LR software on their chips to prevent remaps. As the TDV8 is no longer an option in the 2010 models, no one
has offered a solution. The only way was the piggy back style chip that plugs into the fuel rail input and I'm not sure how it does it, but the results were equally as good as the remap variant of the previous vehicle. I read about the "chipexpress" solution on this website and have got all the benefits of faster take-offs, more elasticity in the mid range and a slight decrease in fuel economy. Living in Australia this was my only option.

DMS Automotive can tune the 2010 Bosch TDv8 no problem , they have done many cars for me in the last 6-7 years inc my Porka's 911's etc and 3 Range Rovers 2014 5.0SC AB

Gone 5.0 SC

I can assure you I'm not but think what you like. If you read my original post I suggested both of the site sponsors and didnt just single out one. The OP wanted something that can be returned to standard when he wanted which is exactly what the sponsors offer. I gave my opinion on remapping (which I dont know why I bothered with some people on here) and it was ignored untill Martin pointed the same direction as I already had.

Calm down calm down!!!

Big DJ your post was not ignored, I am looking at all options and thanks to yourself and Martin my attention has been drawn away from bluefin to BAS.

Scotland 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Orkney Grey

Wasnt sure about factual benefits of the BF Device but at a steady 76mph between Laurencekirk and Dundee a friend returned an mpg of 26.7 and when he installed the BF 31.6mpg - I realise the RRS readout isnt calibrated but its a good indication.

He stated that the repsonse to throttle was better and the initial dip in repsonse was shorter. Now - MY11 RRS Autobiography TDV6, Orkney gray, tints, steps, daylight running lamps and allllll the toys!!!
Ex- RRS HSE TDV6 07 Java Black, bi xenon, corner lights, side steps, tints, cool box, smoke side repeats, chrome "sport" boot sill
Ex - Audi A4 Cab 3.0TDi Quattro
