I've fitted General Grabbers

My RRS V8 Diesel came fitted with 20"wheels and Toyo Proxies 275/40's.
They're nice, but I like a bit more rubber beneath me, so I bought a set of 19" ones (had only been on a Sport for week) and got a new set of General Grabber AT's 255/55/19's fitted to them.
Though I've only covered a 100 miles or so on them, for such a rugged tread, I'm delighted at how quiet they are, not to mention the extra comfort.

Did I hear snow's forecast? Laughing Laughing

The AT2 were a very good tyre, snow mud and road, problem was they suffered from tears in the sidewall, lets hope the new AT is better.

hope you have replaced the spare as well due to the oversize now fitted

I haven't replaced the spare yet, though I eventually will, but in the meantime I carry an aerosol, much handier and safer too.

I'm running 255/55/19 Pirelli ATR's on mine, the extra comfort was immediately apparent Laughing

I've got an LPG tank where my spare wheel should be, soI carry a couple of large cans of the tyre mousse, needs a larger can should anything happen. Ex-G4 Challenge RRS HSE, BV55 YZE. Subtle shade of orange ! Now registered YZE481 G4RRS in Melbourne.
