I've put some 3M velcro on the iPod and the inside of the console to keep the ipod in place... Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

It's a really bad design IMHO. Every time I open the lid, it pulls the tray up because the iPod lead is too short, spilling all the loose change I keep in there 14.5MY SDV6 HSE Dynamic Indus silver/lunar/ebony 20" wheels, InControl, full-size spare, electric tow bar, adaptive xenons, adaptive cruise control, auto main beam assist. I didn't have it in the 3.0 either and used velcro to stick the ipod to the bottom of the lid. It then leaves the tray free for other bits like my phone. The TDV8 did come with the insert but I just took it out and 'stuck' with the velcro.
