What's done on a service?

I'm sure I remember a post with a document of whats done on a service. Search Bobby's gallery and searched the forum but can't find it.

May be you know Bobby or anybody else..how much oil does it go inside of TDV8 3.6 when they replace oil and oil filter. I just had a service at 48k and on the invoice I saw that they put in 9,5L of oil Shocked Shocked !!! 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,.....

This is the info I have on the TdV8, 3.6 liter engine...

Engine Oil Capacity

Dry fill including filter - 9.9 liters (17.4 pints) (10.4 US quarts)
Oil and filter change - 9.5 liters (16.7 pints) (10.0 US quarts)
Amount of oil required to bring level from 'MIN' to 'MAX'
mark on oil level indicator - 2.7 liters (4.75 pints) (2.85 US quarts)

Engine oil, SAE 5W-30

Sorry, there was a typo - corrected now. Crying or Very sad Malaysia Boleh!

Bobby knows everything..thank you Bow down . Just one more quick question if you know what is the difference between Dry fill including filter and Oil and filter change? Is it that dry fill inc. filter is when they build up the engine and they put in oil for the first time? So if that is so at the service when they are changing oil and filter they should charge you only for the 5l because they can not "dry" up the engine completely ? 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,.....
