Yes it does help. Sat in my passenger seat because i've been trapped by to many cameras. I've now got more points than Chelsea. |

Why not buy one of the dedicated detectors such as a Road Angel? These at least warn you. There are some very small and also cheap detectors around. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

I have a road angel pro sat on my dash with a laser detector. Dont use it local but on strange roads it is a god send. Found I set my cruise up with the RA indicated speed and just cruise anywhere - legally.

Buy a pogo alert, small enough to be hard wired in the centre console drawer space, which means it can be hidden from view when car is not in use. |
