Noob with lots of questions...

Afternoon,

Okay, Okay, I know, 'use the search' but I'm struggling to get the information I need and I'd love to be able to use this thread as a reference point for myself, so even if you don't have the time or patience to write a A* response, a link to the relevant information would be greatly appreciated...

1.
Does anybody have, compelled or know of a definitive RRS buyers guide?

2.
Disregarding fuel, insurance, tax etc etc on average how much should one expect to put aside for maintenance and upkeep per annum based on say 12,000 miles a year.

3.
I'll probably be looking at a car just outside of the standard manufactures warranty, would you recommend purchasing one and if so how much should I expect to pay, again per year?

4.
Is there anywhere I can find an original spec list, option list, brochure?

5.
If I do manage to get my hands on one, it would be my only car as such, so in light of this would you recommend the RRS for doing everyday duties, cross continent trips, business meetings, putting a smile on your face on a sunday morning blast?

Thanks for your patience... Thumbs Up -Michael

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Brochures come on eBay now and again, I have most of them from 2005 launch through to 2010MY. You could always contact James Tayler at forum sponsors Lookers Park Royal for specs of various model years and as about the biggest supplier of RRS in the UK they always have a few in stock, old and recent. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Thanks for the encouraging responses so far.

I'm still digging around for everything I need at the moment and will keep an eye on eBay for the relevant brochures. -Michael

No problem here, mine is used everyday, just turned 3years old and has done 80,000km (50k miles) from quick blasts across the continent, Eindhoven to Milan and back to Eindhoven in one day, pulling trailers, taking the kids to school, to a fun day off roading, it does it all in its stride and with great comfort. The car is a great grand tourer for 2 but the boot is just a little on the small side for 4 up continental blasting (esp if the wife wants to take back the contents of every shop she visits Shocked ). Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
