Can anyone tell me if there is an easy way to turn off the annoying "Key in Ignition" warning chime that sounds when you open the drivers door, or is it something that Land Rover will have to do next time it's in?

Don't mean to be pedantic but do you have to be sitting in the seat when doing this or not? Lol 2014 RRS |

The bongs, bings and chimes are all there to keep the American nanny state happy, and to prevent greedy idiots who forget to take the key out or put on a seat belt from sueing Land Rover for millions of $$s 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Aye, but I'm in England. That implies some semblance of intelligence and self-reliance. I don't need a car telling me I haven't put on something that I already know I haven't put on. A menu item saying "turn off all silly noises" would be a damned good idea. |
