2005 RRS 4,4 V8 harsh downshift between 2 & 1

Hi guys,

New to the forum.

As the thread title says I've the harsh downshift problem. It kinda slams in to 1st when slowing to a halt.

Does anyone have a link to the TSB for this problem?

Do a search for driveline shunt and I think you will get the answers you are looking for.

IIRC gearbox software update should hopefully cure it.

mine was fixed with a software update in the last service about 6 months ago. It seemed to be introduced with the service before that... TDV6, MYO7 Java with Ivory leather, 19 inch wheels
