Can someone give me the low down on ......

Does it work with the rrsport? i have a 2007 tdv6 hse.

Does it really work, i have read that it does and it doesnt, it syncs it doesnt sync.... not really to fussed about phone book etc, can i use the hands free and steering wheel stuff?

Has anyone got any good things to say about it ?

Or is it just suck and see?

I spend most of my time in the car on the phone so this is very important.....

The iPhone4 works a treat for me too.

Personally I like that you can hold down the iPhone Home button for 5 seconds to activate voice control on the phone, at which point my RRS switches to bluetooth and interupts the radio, cd etc (but not sat nav Sad ) i can then say 'call {someone in my phonebook}' and it it calls them. I don't have to train it or program the RRS.

Additionally if you have the iPhone plugged in to the Aux socket and it is the active source in the RRS. You can can say stuff like 'play {songs by artist}/{album}/{playlist}'. Whilst I don't have the clever box that lets me have limited control of the iPhone via the steering wheel, it gives me some song choice without crashing in to something! Laughing It works MOST of the time.

I have the 4g in my 08 RRS and the bluetooth works fine, it must have sync'd with my phonebook since I can scroll through it with the car radio (and use the stereo keypad to dial numbers).
I also have an ipod doc fitted (perhaps like this one http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic5039.html ) inside my top glove box that works great with the phone, charges it up and allows me to change tracks with the steering wheel.
